Sales & Marketing: Premium/Suite Sales
Account Executive, Premier Sales - Chicago Cubs (Chicago, IL)

ROLE

This position is responsible for generating revenue through sales of the Premier ticket inventory and experiences at Wrigley Field. This includes responsibility for selling the newly renovated suites and four new club spaces planned as part of the 1060 Project, the ongoing restoration and expansion of Wrigley Field (see CubsPremier.com for more information). Additionally, sales of full-season and single-game suites, Budweiser Bleacher group space hospitality, the Assurance Club and non-gameday corporate events at Wrigley Field are included.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate sales leads through cold calling and networking prospective new business opportunities
  • Produce new sales and renewals of Premier suites, Premier season tickets and events at Wrigley Field
  • Convert current Dugout and Bullpen Box clients into new club spaces, including the American Airlines 1914 Club
  • Create and nurture relationships with top business decision makers and executives
  • Retain existing clients and acquire new customers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3 years of previous sales experience
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, especially with business decision makers and senior executives
  • Demonstrated innovative ability to think outside the box when it comes to new revenue streams
  • Demonstrated solutions-based selling approach
  • Comfortable making cold calls and seeking out new sales leads
  • Demonstrated alignment with the core values and goals of the Cubs organization and sales team
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including some weekends and holidays

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Well-developed network of business owners and executives
  • Experience selling suites, club seats and other premier products in a major mark
